Founder & President Charman Postel joined her son's PTA simply to support him. Invited to serve as Vice President with no prior leadership experience, she found herself facing motions, Robert's Rules of Order, and a room full of unfamiliar language.
Instead of stepping back, she stepped forward — studying governance and immersing herself in leadership development until confidence replaced uncertainty. What she learned became the foundation for The BOLD Foundation: many capable people are never given the tools, training, or encouragement to lead effectively. So we built an ecosystem that gives them exactly that.
